I'm going to deviate from the baby topic for just a moment to talk about my work baby; WISE.WISE is the spacecraft that I have been supporting for the last three years. It launched successfully on Monday and is working well so far. I tried to go down to see the launch but the timing didn't work out it was delayed for mechanical reasons and then weather. I did get it watch it on TV and it was a little nerve racking seeing get hurled into space.
For more information on what WISE is see the NASA homepage, WISE Mission. For pictures of me and the spacecraft click here.
Now on to the Rueckert/Downey Baby. I'm now 21 weeks and therefore more than half way there! That makes me panic just a little bit. We haven't done a lot of planning yet but after Christmas we'll have to start getting on it. Junior has been very active. I'm starting to feel him moving around. Today at work he was doing something that felt like summersaults and making me feel sea sick. Here are two of the pictures from the ultra sound a couple of weeks ago. Sorry it took so long to post them. The one with the hand is very neat.
This is probably the last blog before Christmas. Jeff and I are headed out to Chris and Mel's in the DC area and get to meet Baby Julian. Being Aunt Cindy and Uncle Jeff sounds like a lot of fun.
Happy Holidays!
